Product Overview
The LINEA Research 48M20 is a high-performance eight-channel DSP power amplifier designed for demanding live sound, touring, entertainment venues, professional sound reinforcement and large-scale audio installations. Delivering up to 2,500W RMS per channel at 4 Ohms and 100V, the 48M20 combines exceptional power density with advanced digital signal processing in a compact 2U rackmount chassis.
Equipped with eight independently controlled Class-D amplifier channels, the 48M20 is capable of driving low-impedance loudspeaker systems as well as 70V and 100V constant-voltage distributed audio systems. Its eight-channel architecture provides extensive flexibility for multi-zone and multi-way professional audio systems where multiple loudspeaker areas require independent amplification and DSP control.
The integrated 96kHz DSP provides comprehensive signal routing, equalization, crossover filtering, delay, phase control, FIR processing and advanced VX loudspeaker protection. Analogue and AES3 digital audio inputs are included, while Ethernet connectivity provides configuration, monitoring and system control through Linea Research System Engineer software. Dante and AES67 network audio connectivity is available as a factory-fitted option.
